Accounting Clerk

Objective and Responsibilities

Administrative Department seeking qualified candidate for Accounting Clerk. Ideal candidate will enjoy learning all aspects of administration and accounting including front office, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, while working with others in the accounting department.
Position is located in our corporate office in Fallon, NV.


Duties – General and Front Office

  • Greet clients, answers main telephone system, makes referrals, takes messages, and directs calls appropriately. Also manages phone system administration.
  • Process and take mail to post office daily, including certified mail as needed. Distribute incoming mail (external and internal).
  • Field calls and provides support to Storage Facility customers as needed.
  • Order and maintain office supply stock for all office locations.
  • May perform other clerical functions as needed.
  • Protect company’s value by keeping information confidential.

Duties – Accounts Receivable

  • Perform tasks such as calling customers, scanning, emailing & filing paperwork.
  • Generate monthly billing for two entities.
  • Scan, enter, and reconcile aggregate pit data and bill customers.
  • Process billings for material deliveries and equipment rentals.
  • Analyze receivables for collections and/or liens.
  • Reconcile and deposit cash, checks, credit cards, and ACH in the bank and the accounting software.

Duties – Accounts Payable

  • Review, analyze and post all invoices to expense accounts with attention to detail, and payments as directed.
  • High level of correspondence with vendors and internal departments.
  • Complete month end accounts payable closing by reconciling vendor statements to entirety.
  • Correspondence and documentation with all vendors and internal departments.
  • Records bank and vendor ACH and wire transactions.
  • Access necessary portals to acquire required documentation for invoice processing.
  • Evaluate and assign the correct sales and use tax for invoice payment.



  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office, with a focus in Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to perform basic math.
  • Accounting (AR or AP) experience is preferred.
  • High School level of education required.
  • Must have clean driving record.
